Jay S. Schinfeld, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Jay SchinfeldDr. Jay Schinfeld is a Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist who completed his training at Boston Hospital for Women--Harvard Medical School.  He is the founder of Abington Reproductive Medicine, and is the founding Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA.  He serves as Clinical Professor at Jefferson Medical College, and Adjunct Professor OB/GYN at Temple University School of Medicine.

He is one of only a handful of physicians to be presented with the "Philadelphia's Top Doc" award for five consecutive years, and he was voted one of the Nation's Best Doctors' by U.S. News & World Report for 2011. He has more than 30 years of experience in the infertility field, teaching laser surgery and performing micro reversals of tubal ligations. He has lectured at over 100 hospitals, professional societies and medical schools nationwide.

"My father was an OB, and practiced into his seventies,” Dr. Schinfeld explains. “Despite all the late nights and weekends his work required, he never lost his intense love for and fascination with the moment of birth. I feel the same way about the moment of creation. After 26 years, I still look forward to coming to work to help my patients, even on weekends and during holidays.
